cork hot pad fish veneer
This cork coaster is made of pressed cork and a natural cork veneer on the top. Here 2 cork figures in the shape of fish were cut and strung on a hemp rope. It is particularly thick and has a rope to hang on on both sides. The fish can still be pulled apart to increase the footprint. The coaster is a wonderful base for hot objects and is also very decorative. Cork insulates temperatures and protects sensitive surfaces from scratches. The veneered surface was waxed, the underside is untreated and therefore slip-resistant.
