This round cork coaster has a wonderful strength and not only beautifies the table. It is a wonderful base for hot objects. Cork insulates temperatures and protects sensitive surfaces from scratches. A veneer made of natural cork was applied to both sides of a press cork carrier. The surfaces are waxed.
