The placemats are washable and non-slip even without surface treatment. Please read our care tips. The cork sheets protect sensitive surfaces from temperatures and scratches. This set was made from the natural material cork, here from pressed cork. The surfaces are untreated, you can also treat the cork panels yourself with beeswax for easier maintenance. If you want the placemats to be easier to care for, you can treat them with beeswax, for example. This means that coloring substances cannot penetrate. You can also find beeswax in our range.
