Our cork contact adhesive has been specially developed for the secure and long-lasting installation of cork rolls, cork sheets and other agglomerated cork products. This ready-to-use adhesive provides excellent initial tack, a durable bond and even adhesion on a wide range of suitable substrates.

Whether you're installing a notice board, wall covering, acoustic insulation, thermal insulation, furniture components or DIY projects, this professional cork adhesive delivers reliable, high-quality results.

The adhesive is solvent-free, odourless and very low in emissions (EMICODE EC1), making it suitable for both residential and commercial indoor applications.

Application

The contact adhesive must be applied to both surfaces – the substrate and the back of the cork material.

After application, allow the adhesive to flash off until it becomes transparent. Once transparent, carefully align both surfaces and press them together firmly.

The more even and consistent the pressure applied, the stronger the final bond.

Application Steps

1. Clean and dry the substrate.
2. Apply the adhesive evenly to both surfaces.
3. Allow it to flash off until it becomes transparent.
4. Position the cork accurately.
5. Press firmly or roll with a rubber pressure roller.

Coverage

Depending on the substrate and application method, the adhesive coverage is approximately:

150–300 g/m²

Drying Times

• Flash-off time: approx. 30 minutes
• Open time: up to 120 minutes
• Pre-treated cork sheets: approx. 90 minutes
• Final bond strength: after approximately 24–72 hours

Suitable Substrates

The substrate should be:

• Dry
• Sound and stable
• Clean
• Dust-free
• Grease-free
• Level

Highly absorbent substrates should be properly prepared before installation.
