Können die Untersetzer grosse Hitze des Topfbodens aushalten? Ich backe in Gusseisen und hab schon schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht LG
Ja. Kork ist von Natur aus ein hervorragender Wärmeisolator und eignet sich sehr gut als Topfuntersetzer. Selbst Backkork wird während der Herstellung bei Temperaturen von rund 300 bis 370 °C expandiert und erhält dadurch seine besondere Struktur.
Für sehr heiße Gusseisentöpfe oder Bräter direkt aus dem Backofen empfehlen wir jedoch einen möglichst dicken Untersetzer, da dieser die Hitze noch besser vom Tisch fernhält und die Wärme gleichmäßiger verteilt.
Besonders geeignet ist hierfür unser ovaler Kork-Untersetzer mit Backkorkfurnier (Art. 7815). Durch seine Materialstärke und die robuste Backkorkoberfläche eignet er sich hervorragend für schweres Kochgeschirr und sehr heiße Töpfe.
