The inner surface is covered with veneered and waxed cork, making the tray particularly non-slip, easy to clean, and pleasant to the touch. The base is made from solid, untreated pressed cork, giving the tray extra durability and stability. The inner surface is precisely milled out to preserve the clean, surrounding rim.
For added flexibility, the tray is also available entirely in untreated pressed cork. The untreated areas can be finished with clear varnish (Art. 9656) or beeswax (Art. 9659) if desired.
